Emirates has announced that it will restart a limited number of flight operations from the evening of Sunday, March 2, 2026, as the airline cautiously resumes services following widespread disruption caused by regional airspace closures. According to the carrier’s latest travel update, passengers holding earlier bookings will be given priority, and customers who have been successfully rebooked onto these restricted services will be contacted directly by the airline.
The Dubai-based airline urged passengers not to travel to the airport unless they have received direct confirmation from Emirates, stressing that only selected travelers will be accommodated on the initial flights. All other Emirates services remain suspended until further notice, with the airline saying its operational schedule will continue to depend on the evolving security and airspace situation.
Emirates said it is closely monitoring developments and will adjust its network gradually in coordination with the relevant authorities. The carrier added that further updates will be issued through its official website and social media platforms as the situation becomes clearer. The airline also thanked customers for their patience and understanding during the disruption, while reiterating that the safety and security of passengers, crew and operations remain its top priority.
The move comes as UAE authorities and national carriers begin a cautious restoration of air services after days of disruption linked to heightened regional tensions. Reports indicate that the first wave of resumed flights is expected to remain limited, with priority placed on stranded travelers and essential movements rather than a full return to normal commercial operations.
