Air Canada has announced the suspension of all flights to and from Tel Aviv (TLV) and Dubai (DXB) due to the ongoing military situation in the Middle East. The suspension will remain in place until March 22, 2026, with services set to resume on March 23, 2026. The airline is actively monitoring the situation and will adjust its schedule as necessary to ensure passenger safety.
Air Canada encourages affected passengers to retrieve their booking and make free changes to their travel plans. If your flight is cancelled, the airline will contact you directly to provide alternative rebooking options.
Passengers who have booked Air Canada flights to, from, or via the Middle East, including airports such as Abu Dhabi (AUH), Amman (AMM), Beirut (BEY), Dammam (DMM), Dubai (DXB), Erbil (EBL), and Tel Aviv (TLV), may change their travel plans free of charge if they booked on or before February 28, 2026, for travel between now and March 15, 2026. Changes can be made to a new date between now and March 31, 2026, subject to availability in the originally purchased cabin. For changes outside this period, fare differences may apply.
Passengers can also cancel their flight for a full refund. Those who purchased tickets through Air Canada Vacations should contact Air Canada Vacations directly at 1-800-296-3408.
Air Canada advises passengers to monitor official government travel advisories for the latest information. The airline will continue to update its website and notify affected customers via email and text message with rebooking details and any necessary next steps.
Canadian citizens or permanent residents currently in the affected regions can sign up for the Registration of Canadians Abroad service for important crisis updates. For consular assistance, passengers are advised to contact the Government of Canada’s Emergency Watch and Response Centre, available 24/7.
